We last reviewed Hostinger in October 2026. Prices come directly from Hostinger's own plan pages, using the renewal price stated on each plan card rather than the crossed-out list price. Policies come from Hostinger's refund policy and support articles. We cross-checked them against Website Builder Expert's April 2026 hands-on review. Renewal prices for Cloud Professional, Cloud Enterprise and the two larger Agency plans were not shown on the pages we checked, so only their intro prices are listed. This is desk research: we did not buy a plan for this update.

It reports more than 5 million customers in over 150 countries, with support in 30+ languages. Its core product is shared hosting on its own hPanel control panel, alongside cloud, VPS and agency hosting and business email.

Building a site with Hostinger
Hostinger's onboarding is builder-first. Hostinger AI Builder can create a site or web app from a chat-style description, or you can start from a template and edit it with drag-and-drop elements. Shared plans include 5 to 15 one-time AI credits for this. If you prefer WordPress, install it in one click from hPanel, where you also manage domains, DNS, email, files and databases. Hostinger Agent can handle setup steps such as connecting a domain or activating email when you ask. Trusthost has not bought a test account to walk through this flow first-hand.

Hostinger support
Hostinger offers 24/7 support through live chat and its AI assistant, Hostinger Agent, plus a knowledge base, and every shared plan lists priority 24/7 expert support. There is no phone line. In Website Builder Expert's April 2026 test, live chat answered in about two minutes. We have not contacted support ourselves for this update.

Premium ($2.99/mo intro) hosts 3 websites on 20 GB of SSD storage with weekly backups. Unlimited ($3.99/mo) allows unlimited sites, 50 GB NVMe storage and daily backups. Cloud Startup ($7.99/mo) adds 100 GB NVMe, 4 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and on-demand backups. Every plan includes a free domain for the first year, a CDN, priority 24/7 support, free mailboxes for the first year, and support for both WordPress and Node.js.
What AI tools does Hostinger include?
Hostinger Agent is an AI assistant that works across your account: ask it to connect a domain, configure DNS or activate email and it does the job. Hostinger AI Builder, which merged the old website builder with Horizons, builds websites and web apps either by chatting with AI or with drag-and-drop elements. Shared plans come with 5 to 15 one-time AI credits for site and app creation.
What should you watch out for?
The lowest prices require paying for all 48 months upfront, and renewals are steep: Premium goes from $2.99 to $10.99/mo, about 3.7 times the intro rate. There is no phone support, only live chat and the AI agent. VPS refunds are limited to one every 180 days, and domain renewals, privacy protection and AI Builder credits are not refundable.
On speed, Website Builder Expert measured a 0.33-second US server response in 2026, faster than Bluehost or GoDaddy in the same test.
Is Hostinger right for you?
Good fit if you want low headline pricing with real AI tooling (a site-building agent, an AI app builder, and an AI SEO toolkit) included rather than sold separately, and you don't need phone support.
Better to avoid if you need phone support, a dedicated server tier, or want to avoid a long prepaid term. Hostinger's lowest prices require a 48-month commitment, and the renewal rate is well over 3 times the intro price.
